Description
Christina: (as she enters the Igloo of Isolation) Oh, he must be here! (she looks about herself, and bumps into a control panel; she accidentally hits a button, which, in turn, makes a pillar rise up from the center of the room. Inside that pillar, is Christina's now-frozen lover, the Global Warmer) Global Warmer!
G.W.: Christina? Is that you?
Christina: Global! (rushes over to her lover in anguish) Oh, Global, what happened to you?
G.W.: That wretched Man-Arctica caught me.
Christina: Oh, if only there was a way to get you out of here. (starts sobbing, leaning against the ice pillar)
G.W.: Hush now, my Christina, there's no need for tears, now.
Christina: What? (looks up at him)
G.W.: No more talk of darkness,
Forget these wide-eyed fears;
I'm here, nothing can harm you,
My words will warm and calm you.
Let me be your freedom,
Let daylight dry your tears;
I'm here, with you, beside you,
To guard you and to guide you.
Christina: Say you'll love me, every waking moment,
Turn my head with talk of summertime.
Say you need me with you now and always;
Promise me that all you say is true.
That's all I ask of you.
G.W.: Let me be your shelter,
Let me be your light;
You're safe, no one will find you.
Your fears are far behind you.
Christina: All I want is freedom,
A world with no more night;
And you, always beside me,
To hold me and to hide me.
G.W.: Then say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime;
Let me lead you from your solitude.
Say you need me with you, here, beside you;
Anywhere you go, let me go, too.
Christina, that's all I ask of you.
Christina: Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime;
Say the word, and I will follow you.
Global and Christina: (in a duet) Share each day with me, each night, each morning.
Christina: Say you love me...
G.W.: You know I do.
Duet: Love me, that's all I ask of you.
(as Christina gets closer to Global, she pushes another button, and the ice pillar melts into water, instantly, releasing the Global Warmer)
G.W.: I'm free!
Christina: Global! (she rushes over to him and hugs him)
G.W.: I told you I'll stay by your side. (hugs her back)
Christina: (as a few tears roll down her cheeks) For a villain, you're very honest.
G.W.: I must offer a confession, Christina, ever since meeting you, I thought about giving up my villainy, for you, my love.
Duet: Anywhere you go, let me go, too...
Love me, that's all I ask of you. (they kiss)

Well, this took me a while to do! Anyway, I've been listening to the song, "All I Ask of You" from "Phantom of the Opera", and it inspired me to create a little rescue scene for the Global Warmer and Christina Cooler. Here, Christina is looking for Global in Man-Arctica's Igloo of Isolation, and when she finds out that her lover is trapped in a pillar of ice, she cries, thinking that there was no way to release him. Of course, Global comforts her, in a way, and they both feel rescued, in the end: Global Warmer is rescued from the icy prison, and Christina is rescued from loneliness.
